Where am I?

Where am I?
Just a moment ago
Everything was so normal
Then all of a sudden
It came with all its fury
Like a plague of locusts
Sucking life out of everything in their path
Like a tornado
Obliterating all buildings of hope
Like a vicious tiger
Hidden crouching in the grass

Where am I?
Buried beneath all this rubble
I can hear voices
There are people outside
Helping each other
Will they hear me?
Will they help me?
I am alive…
