Respite
Let us live within this moment
Firmly clamped in our embrace
In your auburn flowing locks
I feel your soul upon my face
Hold me dear, it’s been so long
Wrap me in your safe respite
Home resides in proximal touch
Darkness giving way to light
In your arms there’s nothing else
No stress felt from a world so cold
I’d live this scene a million lifetimes
Hazy dreams in colors gold
