Us Hostelers (A Reflective Poesy)

we’re young
we sit in our hostels all day
we read, we work
we talk, we pray
There’s one thing that
gnaws at all of us
we cry in corners
and laugh amidst crowds
we bury our doubts
we deem love rare
companionship : even rarer
we’re young
we will keep on sitting in our hostels all day
and reflect
on whom to adore
where to stay
where to thrive
and when to strive
all of this
right here in our hostels.
