Mankind 2022
Always connected, yet always alone,
We speak through a laptop, a tablet or phone.
Catatonic introverts, who never see sun.
Absently enquiring, where is the fun?
Where are we headed, and why such a rush?
Our limbs turn to jelly, our brains into mush.
The Master informs us, that this is all planned.
Don’t buck the system, you don’t understand.
And so the sun sets, finally ne’er to rise.
The great human empire, do we mourn its’ demise?
